Gary Aspden‘s highly coveted Adidas Spezial imprint returns with a new range for the SS20 season. Mirroring the casual style seen on the dancefloors and terraces in the early ’80s and ’90s, this white ‘Hartcliffe T-Shirt’ is cut to a regular fit. Crafted from a cotton-poly blend and subtly styled with a branded chest pocket, the tee is rounded off with a comfortable ribbed neckline, to honour the clean, minimal aesthetic Adidas Spezial and to complete any look.

Originally designed as a handball shoe for the indoor sports which are very demanding on footwear, Adidas SPZL was made in 1979. Thirty-five years later, an Adidas fanatic, Gary Aspden from the UK, with the help of the brand curated a sub-line called SPZL, which is the German sportswear-giant’s mass produced secret. The sub-line offers a unique retro-appeal which is reminiscent of the late ’70s and early ’80s era. The silhouettes are simple and minimalistic, but made of high-quality materials.
