Combining Comme des Garçons unexpected and asymmetrical cuts and Nike‘s ‘Max Air Cushioning’, this eye-catching rendition of the ‘Air Max 95’ is made from mesh and suede uppers with raw-hemmed textile overlays. Characterised by distressed raw-edge side panels and its deconstructed look, the otherwise sporty model is designed with a slick suede toe panel, webbed nylon eyelets and reflective ‘Swoosh’ branding at the heel. More sizes are available at END. (£280).

Comme des Garçons is a Japanese fashion label founded by Rei Kawakubo. Not afraid to make a statement and defined by its unexpected silhouettes and playful proportions, the Japanese label is a source of ultra-contemporary style. CDG introduced its ‘PLAY’ line in 2002 — a minimalist approach to apparel and footwear — adorned with endless variations of the iconic bug-eyed heart logo, designed by Filip Pagowski.

Rei Kawakubo also owns the multi-brand retailer DSM, originally located in Mayfair, London. Dover Street Market was created by the legendary Japanese designer and her husband Adrian Joffe. It has stores in Singapore, New York, Los Angeles, Beijing and Ginza.
