Connecting the dots between slick street style and Parisian elegance, Maison Margiela proudly presents this all-black iteration of their ’10 Numeric Logo T-Shirt’. The short-sleeved, oversized fit garment is crafted from a jet-black cotton jersey in Italy. The boxy silhouette is equipped with a ribbed crewneck line and is completed with the brand’s signature numeric branding across the front, and the four stitch branding on the back of the neck, allowing you to rip the tag off.

MAISON MARGIELA
[ Paris ]

Founded in 1988 by the Belgian designer Martin Margiela, who quickly established himself at the forefront of the fashion avant-garde, Maison Margiela is a Paris-based fashion house best known for its progressive aesthetic and unique approach to deconstructing, reinventing and redefining menswear and womenswear silhouettes.

Martin Margiela embodied the atelier’s principles of anonymity and collective craftsmanship by refusing to grant interviews and public appearances. After his label went public in 2002, the majority of his shares were purchased by the OTB Group, a holding company led by Renzo Rosso, also owner of the Italian fashion label Diesel. Exhausted from the industry, Martin Margiela resigned as a creative director of his own label in 2009.

Maison Margiela was helmed by its Paris-based design team until the appointment of the British designer John Galliano (who had worked at Dior and Givenchy) as a creative director in 2014. That marked a new era in label’s history — introducing various haute-couture collections with stripped-down tailored pieces, reinventing the brand’s classic collections by using repurposed materials, distressed treatments, and endless interpretations of the brand’s signature ‘Replica’ sneakers.
