The collaboration between the Japanese streetwear label Undercover and the Italian luxury fashion house Valentino continues to take unexpected turns. Proudly presenting the ‘All-Over Print Crewneck Sweatshirt’, both brands draw obvious inspiration from space exploration and the great unknown — but also from notable historic figures. This sweatshirt is made from a rich-cotton blend and is handcrafted to perfection in Japan, featuring a ribbed crew neckline, ribbed cuffs, hem and an all-over printed ‘V’ branding.

Japanese designer Jun Takahashi and his streetwear label Undercover, that embodies the quintessence of Japanese cool, channeling raw edged rebellion and dramatic high-concept elegance to produce a vision that fascinates. The label was founded in 1993 on the designer’s way to graduation and broke-through the streetwear-couture divide many years before the luxury-casual hit the mainstream, with the support of CDG‘s icon Rei Kawakubo. Expanding the collection and the collaboration list, the Japanese designer collaborated with the Italian high-end fashion label Valentino, thanks to the brand’s creative director Pier Paolo Piccioli, both labels were able to present a series of graphics that exist out of space and time. Time travel collections, defining a spontaneous streetwear concept, surrealism and contemporaneity.
