Common Projects was built in 2004 by magazine art director Peter Poopat and the brand consultant Flavio Girolami which had already known each other through various projects, hence the name of the brand. Their goal was simple: to create the perfect sneaker, envisioned as minimalistic and made of high-quality materials. The company makes everything from low-top sneakers to combat boots and it stands out with its minimalist approach and its promise of better construction. All Common Projects’ products are made in an Italian footwear factory and are hand-stitched to perfection.
